When choosing a supplement, look for a brand that is free of artificial sweeteners, coloring, and other additives. Also consider choosing a multivitamin that is sourced from organic, whole foods, which is the next best thing to getting the nutrients directly from your food.

Most prenatal vitamins contain more folic acid, iron, and calcium- essential for a baby’s healthy development-than regular multivitamins. Be sure to select ones with Vitamin A, C, D, and Omega-3s too. will give you the exact amount of each vitamin you will need during pregnancy.
